Skype Call to Finland

On the 15th of December we called our friends in Finland from Room 10. This is our fifth class and they are ten and eleven years old. We spoke for forty minutes. We discussed Christmas traditions and Christmas food. We also showed them our school uniform. They don't wear them in Finland. We learnt that in Finland children like to ice-skate and ski. The temperature was minus 5 degrees Celsius outside in Finland and they showed us the car park with a snow bank in the background. This morning in Ireland it was 10 degrees. We sang some Christmas songs together and we said some poems.

This year we had great fun making Christmas cards to send to all our Erasmus+ partners. We visited the post office and sent them off to Europe. We were delighted to receive cards as well and we decorated our classroom with them. Thank you to everyone for sending them!
